Convergence explorer
Explore precursors, products, and co-occurring molecules for intermediates.
Click any convergence badge (e.g.,
22/45) to open the Convergence Explorer in a new tab. It shows a
detailed view of how that molecule connects to the rest of the route
set.

Layout
The Explorer lays out four zones around a central focal molecule:
- Goes into (top) — products this molecule feeds into, with reaction types and route counts.
- Focal molecule (center) — the molecule you clicked, showing how many routes contain it.
- Co-occurring (middle row) — other reactants at the same step, molecules that react alongside the focal molecule.
- Made from (bottom) — precursors used to synthesize this molecule.
Excluding routes
Click the ban icon on any molecule to exclude routes containing it. Exclusions apply immediately in the route viewer (the original tab updates when you switch back). You can also click co-occurring molecules to exclude them.
Managing exclusions
Active exclusions appear in the Convergence Exclusions section of the filter sidebar with 2D structures. Click any structure to return to its convergence context. Use Clear all convergence filters to reset.
